Eaton Canyon sketch
I took a workshop with Nathan Fowkes who is an AMAZING Vis Dev guy at Dreamworks since Prince of Egypt. He taught us some great stuff during a 2-1/2 hour lecture, then let us roam out at the park to try our hand at the new wisdom he shared with us. Here's my attempt.
Thanks Nathan, your advice on it really helped the plants look grounded. I need to work on the focus part more...perhaps if I darkened the stones on the lower left corner, it would have helped. Maybe I'll try it in Photoshop.
Thanks Alina, your work is SOOOO inspiring!
Justin, thanks for always being supportive!
Thanks Martin, I took a Color Theory workshop with Nathan once and he has such great wisdom on Color and that has helped me grow
I am changing as I speak...only God knows where I'll be.
I am a Mom to an amazing little boy, who happens to be severely allergic to multiple foods. We started farming when we realized that the foods we eat can affect us. My Mom had watched a doc where kids in Japan who had severe food allergies were either cured or their allergies reduced when taken out of a heavily polluted environment (city) & fed Organic food exclusively. We don't have the means to move, so we decided we'll start w/the organics. That led to farming our own produce as the organic label is exorbitant. As we dove in head first to grow our own food, a whole new world opened up: GMOs, EMFs, Vaccinations, all linked to injuries and illness. We actually give thanks to God for our sons allergies. It's given us a new perspective of the world.
I'm also a formally trained Animator, Illustrator and Graphic Artist. I do wish I have more time to do more creative things, but for now, my responsibilities to my son's safety are my top priority.
